The Center for Volunteer Caregiving is excited to offer this group respite; Prelude Respite. This service allows caregivers of seniors with dementia to take a break while their family member participates in meaningful activities with their peers. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in Prelude Respite by dropping off their loved one with dementia for group activities from 1:00 –4:30 and then attend Memory Café at the Cary Senior Center for dinner and entertainment at 4:30. This will give the caregiver time to run errands. There is no charge for this service.
